In this video, Andrew goes over dive anchors for spearfishing and freediving. Anchors are great in tandem with a float on a shore dive. They allow you to anchor your float in one spot, and dive around the float without having to tow it around with you. One downside to anchors is that it requires you to pick up the anchor every time you move spots, however some divers don't mind this. They're a great option for divers who dislike towing their float around with them for the duration of their dives.
