Where Are We Going?

British Columbia waters host a diverse topography and marine life that draws divers from around the world. Wreck divers enjoy exploring the three great wrecks in the area, one shallow in the channel, and two deeper just outside the Harbour; each offers a different diversity of life. Nearby walls and reefs offer something for both the advanced and the technical scuba diver alike.

May 11th-12th 2024 Trip

Join us for a full 2 days trip to experience Vancouver Island diving; some of the best diving in the world! We will be doing 1 day of fantastic shore diving looking for Giant Pacific Octopus, Wolfeels, Dogfish, Nudibranchs, and much more! On our second day of the trip we are going to boat diving to experience some of the most amazing artificial shipwrecks you have ever seen. Wrecks that we may dive include the HCMS Saskatchewan and the Cape Breton.

As we will be running a Wreck Specialty course at the same time, this trip will semi-unguided. We will be pairing divers together who do not have a buddy, but make sure you are comfortable enough to follow a dive plan without a guide to lead you for the whole dive.

Who is This Trip for?:

  • Anyone wishing to experience world class cold water diving
  • Photographers interested in capturing macro life or wide angle action
  • Scubadivers should have advanced or technical certification, and a minimum of 15 cold water dives, with one being in the last 6 months
  • Scuba divers wishing to do wreck penetration need to have a wreck certification
  • Nitrox certification is highly recommended
  • Divers wishing to learn how to dive inside Wrecks on this trip have the option of upgrading to do the full SDI Wreck Diver Specialty on this trip with one of our instructors.

  • Wreck Specialty

For divers who want to add to their experience, we are going to be sending one of our instructors to teach how to properly navigate and enter shipwrecks underwater.
