When you rent from us, you're not getting old, worn-out gear — you're getting equipment that reflects our commitment to quality, safety, and professional diving in British Columbia’s cold-water conditions.
Diving Sports Rental Policy
- Rental is based on a 24-hour period / 1 day.
- Renting a BCD, Drysuit, Regulator or Tanks requires proof of certification from a recognized scuba diving agency.
- Rental requires a valid photo I.D. (Driver’s License or Passport), as well as a valid Credit Card.
- Rental fees must be fully paid at time of pickup.
- Please try to start the rental process at least 2 hours before close of business.
- If rental gear is not returned before 12:00pm the following business day, an additional day of rental fees will be assessed.
- Renter accepts full responsibility for any loss or damage.
- Tanks must be returned with at least 500 psi. Less than 500 psi requires a visual inspection at $45.00 per tank.
PICK-UP AND DROP-OFF TIMES
Pick up after 3:00pm the day before your rental. Drop off before 12:00pm the day after.
REFUNDS
No refunds for weather issues or unused returns.
Drysuit Rental
A Drysuit Certification is required. If not certified, a Drysuit Specialty Course is required before renting.
Scuba & Freediving Gear Rental – Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need certification to rent scuba gear in Vancouver?
Yes. Renting a BCD, regulator, drysuit, or scuba tanks requires proof of certification from a recognized scuba diving agency.
Can I rent freediving equipment without certification?
Freediving wetsuits, masks, fins, weight belts, and training buoys can be rented without scuba certification. Proper freediving training is strongly recommended.
How long is the rental period?
All rentals are based on a 24-hour period (1 day). Multi-day, weekly, and long-term rental options are also available.
When can I pick up and return rental gear?
You may pick up your rental gear after 3:00 PM the day before your rental date and return it before 12:00 PM the day after your rental date.
What do I need to bring to rent scuba or freediving gear?
A valid government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport) and a valid credit card are required. Rental fees must be fully paid at the time of pickup.
Do you rent drysuits in Vancouver?
Yes. A valid Drysuit Certification from a recognized agency is required to rent a drysuit.
What happens if I return rental gear late?
If rental gear is not returned before 12:00 PM on the following business day, an additional rental day will be charged for each extra day.
Do scuba tanks need to be returned with air?
Yes. Tanks must be returned with at least 500 PSI. Tanks below 500 PSI will require a visual inspection fee.
