Evening Guided Scuba Dives in Vancouver | Explore Local Dive Sites After Work

Ready to log a dive after work? Join our Evening Guided Scuba Dives in Vancouver—perfect for certified scuba divers looking for a relaxed, midweek underwater adventure. Explore sites like Whytecliff Park, Kelvin Grove, or Ansell Point with an experienced guide and a small group of local divers.

You can meet us at the shop at 5:00 PM if you need transportation, or meet directly at the dive site at 6:00 PM. Once on site, we gear up and begin a guided dive lasting 45 to 60 minutes. Afterward, we pack up and return to the shop—typically arriving between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM.

Why Join Our Evening Scuba Dives?

These sessions are a great way to stay active in the local dive scene, refresh your skills, and enjoy BC’s coastal marine life. Our guides will lead you through the dive and provide support from start to finish. These dives are social, safe, and certified-diver only.

Whether you're spotting lingcod, exploring kelp forests, or just soaking in the tranquility of a twilight dive, there's something magical about being underwater in the evening.

What’s Included:

  • 1 guided ocean dive (45–60 minutes)
  • 1 tank and weights
  • Optional transportation from our Vancouver dive shop (limited to 6 seats, first-come-first-served)

What’s Not Included:

  • Rental Equipment — Reserve rental gear here
  • Food or water — Please bring your own snacks and drinks
  • Guaranteed marine life sightings — Though octopus and seals are common, nature always keeps it wild!

Drysuit Divers:

Planning to dive in a drysuit? You must have a Drysuit Specialty Certification or completed drysuit training with us. If you’re new to drysuits, check out our PADI Drysuit Specialty Course.

Requirements to Join:

  • Certified Open Water Diver (or higher)
  • Dived within the past 12 months
  • Comfortable with shore entries and cold water diving
  • Minimum age: 12 years old (minors require parental approval)

Meeting Options:

  • 5:00 PM at Diving Sports Canada – 4578 Main St, Vancouver (if you need transportation)
  • 6:00 PM directly at the dive site (Whytecliff, Kelvin Grove, or Ansell)
  • Return to shop: around 8:30–9:00 PM

Spots are limited — especially for transport in our shop van. Reserve your place early and dive into Vancouver’s coastlines with the community at Diving Sports Canada.

Led by our experienced guides, each dive takes place at the scenic Whytecliff Park — a top shore diving destination in British Columbia. Whether you're new to the area or just want a no-fuss way to enjoy a weekday dive, we’ve got you covered with optional transportation and a friendly group atmosphere.

We organize guided fun dives for divers of all experience levels. If you're unfamiliar with local sites or don't have a dive buddy, these sessions are perfect for you. Our team chooses the dive site based on diver experience and group preference, ensuring everyone has a great time.

After the dive, unwind with fellow divers, share stories, and enjoy the sense of community that comes with every fun dive. Whether it’s your first time diving BC waters or your hundredth, there’s always something new to discover.

Our Commitment to Safety and Enjoyment

At Diving Sports Canada, we believe in providing an exceptional diving experience while upholding the highest standards of safety:

  • Guides are certified and highly experienced in local cold water diving.
  • All guides are trained in First Aid and oxygen delivery.
  • First Aid and DAN Oxygen Kits are present on every dive trip.
  • We may adjust the dive plan or site based on weather or diver comfort level.
  • Divers are coached to maintain respectful and safe diving practices for the environment and group.
