Nitrox & Trimix Blending Information

We use two blending systems for filling tanks:

  • Continuous Blending System ("The Stick") – For Nitrox mixes up to 40%. No booster fee is applied, and tanks do not need to be oxygen clean.
  • Partial Pressure Blending – Required for Nitrox above 40% and Trimix (Helium + Oxygen). A $10 booster fee applies, and tanks must be O₂ clean.

For Nitrox, Oxygen, or Helium fills, please allow 24 hours for completion.

We keep Oxygen and Helium in stock year-round for recreational and technical diving needs.

Tank Fill Policy

  • We only fill tanks that are less than 25 years old from the manufacturing date.
  • All cylinders must be within current visual inspection and hydrostatic testing requirements.
  • Valid certification may be required for Nitrox or technical gas fills.
  • Please allow 24 hours for Nitrox, Oxygen, or Helium blends.

Scuba Tank Fills Vancouver – Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a scuba tank fill cost in Vancouver?

Air fills are $10. Nitrox fills up to 40% are $15. Oxygen is $1 per cubic foot and Helium is $3.50 per cubic foot. Annual air and Nitrox passes are also available.

Do I need my tank to be oxygen clean for Nitrox?

For Nitrox fills up to 40%, oxygen cleaning is not required because we use a continuous blending system (“the stick”). For Nitrox above 40% and Trimix fills, tanks must be O₂ clean.

Do you charge a booster fee for Nitrox or Trimix?

A $10 booster fee applies for Nitrox above 40% and Trimix (Helium + Oxygen) fills. Nitrox up to 40% does not require a booster fee.

How long does a Nitrox or Trimix fill take?
