xClassic downstream piston- The Mark 2 EVO is the best example of bulletproof reliability and trouble-free, minimum maintenance regulators. The classic downstream piston configuration is the simplest mechanism that exists to control the pressure drop from a tank to feed the second stage. The classic downstream valve is the first choice of diving centers and rental facilities worldwide for warm and moderate water temperatures. Classic downstream valves are particularly noted for their legendary safety and reliability. When in use, the downstream valve opens in the same direction as the incoming air flow. To close the valve and stop the air flow, a spring counteracts the force of the incoming air. Therefore, a certain inhalation effort is always required to overcome the spring tension and open the valve.
This first stage epitomizes reliability and simplicity. Its standard Flow-By-Piston design is ideal for divers who don't want to get bogged down with an overwhelming number of bits and pieces, but still want the peace of mind that comes with a sound piece of equipment. This first stage is equipped with Scubapro's Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS), which will keep your first stage functioning properly, even in frigid water. The New Scubapro MK2 EVO first stage regulator meets the new EN250-2014 requirements for cold water diving, CE approved for 3360 psi (230 bars). This model goes even beyond this super stringent qualification and have successfully been tested in extreme cold diving conditions at less than 36.7°F (2.6°C).
The freezing resistance has been increased by 50% over the previous MK2 regulator first stage. Scubapro has achieved this with some new design features. The new MK2 EVO has a proprietary insulating coating on key internal components that resist the cooling effect found in previous MK2 first stage regulators, also as a specific anti-freezing measure; Scubapro engineers have designed a patented finned cap with ribs for the MK2 EVO first stages for optimal-cold water diving. The ribs of the XTIS act as a radiator to increase the surface area of heat transfer from the water to warm up the internal parts that have been drastically cooled down by the gas pressure drop. The new MK2 EVO has a bigger body and cap thread, new body insulating bushing, spring isolating coating, removable HP orifice and larger opening on the cap. The MK2 has one 7/16" threaded high-pressure port and four 3/8" threaded low-pressure ports. The first stage body is manufactured from marine-grade chrome plated brass and weighs 24.9 oz. (706 g).

Shipping in Canada is $15 flat rate. No surcharges and no more to pay! For items in stock, orders placed before 2pm PST will be shipped via Expedited Shipping on the same day. There is no limit on product quantity in each order!
For pre-order items, shipping usually takes around 4 to 12 business days. This timeframe includes the period needed to receive the product from the manufacturer and get it ready for shipment to you, so please keep this in mind when anticipating your delivery. The actual shipping time may depend on factors like the product’s availability and your location.
Shipping fees to the Continental United States will be calculated at checkout. Extra shipping fees may apply when shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.
We ship 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. If your order is placed before 2 pm PST, your order will be shipped that day. Orders placed after 2pm will be shipped the next operating day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or on holidays will be shipped on the next business day.
We always ship with Canada Post or UPS using the Expedited service. Delivery time depends on your location. Estimated delivery time will be available upon receiving your tracking information.
If you would like to upgrade the shipping service, additional postage costs will be applied. Please contact us with your request when placing your order.

Return Policy
We care about your satisfaction. That is why returns to Diving Sports are easy! If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to Diving Sports within 30 days of the purchase date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
If all conditions are not met, Diving Sports reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a minimum 15% restocking fee.
- All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact PLU code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. We can only refund or exchange products that have not been in contact with water or lube and are undamaged. All wetsuits that have been in contact with water or lube will not be accepted for a return.
- Diving Sports is not responsible for mis-handling of products or ill-treatment of goods.
- Diving Sports is not responsible for personal data or items left in returned merchandise.
- Diving Sports is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the use of any merchandise bought from us including lost or stolen equipment.
- Claims for missing items or items damaged in transit must be received within 7 business days of receipt of merchandise.
- Securely pack all items that you would like to be returned.
- All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer if the return is not a result of our error.
- If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.), please send us an email explaining the situation and ask for a return label.
- If your return is not the result of our error, we can still provide a return label and the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund.
